Saint Colman of Cloyne

+M

Saint Colman of Cloyne, pray for us!

The restoration of my home parish, Saint Colman of Cloyne in Washington Court House, Ohio (founded in 1885), has been a long time coming. Since the arrival of the current Parish Priest, the Reverend Father Jan Sullivan, in 2000, small and large details around the interior and exterior of the church have progressively changed, been restored, and cleaned up. This has included landscaping changes, a new slate roof on the entire church (including the steeple), re-painting, new copper gutters, and now the interior of the church. The pews, statues, altar and Tabernacle were all recently removed to begin work on the restructuring of the choir loft, the re-painting process and the laying of the new wood floor (which will come in later months). The dedication of the restored church and the 125th Anniversary will be celebrated on Christmas Eve, December 24th with Holy Mass. All will be welcome!

Without the generosity and dedication of many individuals in our community, this project would not have been possible. Deo Gratias!
