As I end my day of study... I finish on these last few comforting sentences from my notes:

We must determine a passion/ motivation for our study. The law is not dead but a living thing. Our motivation is found in passion for the Church and for man. The law is an instrument of charity- charity through justice. Without justice there is no charity (c. 1752- salvation of souls).
