Oh, to be in England!

Hello, All!

A couple of weeks ago, I traveled to London with a friend of mine. Here are a few highlights of the trip.

We attended Evening Vespers, Holy Mass and the Stations of the Cross on the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord at Westminister Cathedral.

Ye Old Cheshire Cheese Pub- The well known haunt of G.K. Chesterton, Charles Dickens and many others. Having fish and chips, a good pint of cider and reading a few lines of Chesterton's work (thank you, George Weigel and his book "letters to a young Catholic" -- who I personally thanked at the NAC station Mass on Thursday... for writing about the pub) was one of the main highlights of the trip for me.

The following are tons of random pictures taken while touring the city. Enjoy!

Oh, to be in England
Now that April's there,
And whoever wakes in England
Sees, some morning, unaware,
That the lowest boughs and the brushwood sheaf
Round the elm-tree bole are in tiny leaf,
While the chaffinch sings on the orchard bough
In England - now!!
